What is a Drum Clinic?

A drum clinic is part concert, part instruction, part demonstration. The audience will have a chance to interact with the performer, meet and greet with Billy, and learn about what he does behind the drums. This is an up close and personal event with one of the most in-demand drummers of our day.

What is a Masterclass?

A masterclass is a more personalized version of a drum clinic. It's more like a group lesson. Billy will work with each student to help them specifically. He will also demonstrate his technique and thoughts in a very presonal and intimate setting. You will get the chance to work directly with Billy, and observe as he works with the others in the class. If the clinic is "up close and personal", then the masterclass is your chance to become one of Billy's newest "victims".

When & Where is it?

  • The clinic is 7:00pm Tuesday August 28th, at the Fredericton Elks Club, 218 Brunswick St, Fredericton, New Brunswick.
For directions, check Google Maps here.

  • The masterclass is 10:00am-noon, Wednesday August 29th at Faith Baptist Church, 525 New Maryland Hwy, New Maryland, New Brunswick.
For directions, check Google Maps here.

How Can I get Tickets?

NOTE that only 10 tickets will be sold to the masterclass. These WILL sell out, and there will be no second run.

Who should attend?

Drummers of any skill or experience level should make plans to attend this clinic. Bring your parents, your band mates, and all your friends. The masterclass is targeted more towards more experienced players who want to take their playing up a level.

Why are we Doing This?

AIDS ribbonThis drum clinic and masterclass is a fundraising event for AIDS relief work in Ethiopia, for a large group of missionaries and relief workers who help AIDS victims and orphans. Today, there are more than 15 million children orphaned by AIDS. By the year 2010, that number will exceed 50 million. Who will care for, feed, educate, and raise these precious lives?

The world needs a greater involvement in the fight against AIDS, the most devastating disease the world has ever faced. We cannot ignore the cries of the three million people who will die of AIDS this year, not to mention the five million more who will contract it. We must do our part to arrest the spread of this horrific disease. All of the proceeds from the clinic and ticket sales will go directly towards supporting this work.

This being a fundraising event, we will gladly accpept donations towards this noble cause (gifts of more than $20 will be receipted accordingly). Every little bit helps -- we actually CAN affect the world!
